Robert Half SecOps Engineer in Bensalem, Pennsylvania

Description We are seeking a SecOps Engineer to join our team in the Financial Services industry located in BENSALEM, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and configuring secure network solutions, managing and monitoring intrusion detection systems, and maintaining security architecture documentation among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Architecting and configuring secure network solutions, including FW, NGFW, and Web Content Filtering

• Management and monitoring of intrusion detection and prevention systems, responding to suspicious activities

• Deployment and maintenance of network-based DLP solutions and development of policies to ensure data privacy

• Regular conduction of vulnerability assessments using tools like Nessus and working on remediation

• Deployment of zero-day threat protection and development of response strategies

• Management of endpoint protection technologies to guard against malware

• Implementation of identity and access management solutions like Okta and RSA

• Design, implementation, and management of SIEM solutions for centralized security monitoring, advanced threat detection, and comprehensive incident response

• Maintenance of security architecture documentation and generation of regular security posture reports

• Collaboration with IT and compliance teams, providing guidance on security best practices. Requirements • Applicant must possess knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)

• Experience with Checkpoint and Checkpoint Firewall is essential

• Proficiency in using Cisco ASA and Cisco ASA Firewall required

• Familiarity with Cisco Routers is a plus

• Must have a solid understanding of Computer Hardware

• Experience in Configuration Management is crucial

• Knowledge and experience with Datacenter operations is necessary

• The candidate must have the ability to work in a team and communicate effectively

• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are highly desirable

• Previous experience in the financial services industry is a plus

• The ability to adapt to changes and learn new technologies quickly is required
