Dartmouth Health APRN, Imaging in Bennington, Vermont

Overview

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vermont, a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN) to join our imaging department. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively. The position is full-time, salaried, with no call, night, weekend or holiday responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Pre- and post-procedural care

  • Paracentesis, thoracentesis, catheter placement, fluoroscopy and central lines

  • History and physical exams

  • Ordering of laboratory and diagnostic tests

  • Obtaining consent and providing education to patients regarding plan of care

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of Advanced Practice procedural experience preferred, although highly motivated new graduates with relevant experience will be considered

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Successful completion of an approved NP program

  • Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Vermont
