Google Technical Program Manager, Pixel Software Testing (Full Cycle) in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with full product life cycle software testing in consumer hardwares, mobile devices, or other smart devices.

  • Experience in driving cross-site/team projects and working with various perspectives.

  • Ability to work through ambiguity to provide detailed data-driven solutions.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Pixel Software Technical Program Manager, in Pixel Test Engineering, you will work with cross-product area/site/team to elevate and accelerate test engineering towards Pixel product excellence.

  • Be able to program manage full product life cycle testing for Pixel phone software.

  • Collaborate across various disciplines (Engineer, Carrier Technical Account Manager, Quality Assurance, fellow technical program managers, etc.) to drive testing programs, provide test strategies and plans, identify and manage risks to ensure timely delivery of testing.

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and leadership in a timely manner.

  • Work with Pixel Test Engineering and other Pixel teams to oversee testing of new features on overall Pixel Software.

  • Exercise technical judgment to keep goals for programs, projects, and products attainable within a given timeline.
