Google Technical Program Manager, Data Analytics New Product Introduction in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in architecting data engineering, data warehousing, data analytics, business intelligence, visualization, and data solutions using SQL and Python.

  • Experience in statistics and with statistical software.

  • Knowledge of the Hardware test industry and business operations.

  • Knowledge of basic machine learning concepts and algorithms to apply predictive models and insights.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager in Data Analytics, you will lead the optimization of Hardware NPI manufacturing processes. You will work with internal customers and external stakeholders to build cascading dashboards and reports, and diagnostic analytics driving insights leveraging machine learning. In this role, you will manage projects that often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, and will partner with senior engineering and product leaders across cloud operations working on building the next generation Hardware for Data centers.

  • Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand business requirements, engage with managers from cross-functional teams to specify data analysis and visualization requirements tailored to business processes.

  • Analyze manufacturing test data and other data sources to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization, and develop insightful reports that communicate key metrics to stakeholders.

  • Create and maintain user-friendly dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key operational metrics, and implement alerting mechanisms to notify management of potential issues.

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual spreadsheets, collaborate with teams to develop tools and scripts that streamline processes and improve efficiency.

  • Provide comprehensive program management support, including ongoing development of processes, templates, escalation procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
