The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced Supply Chain S4 Hana SAP Project System Analyst SAP PS to join Demand to Plan Work Stream team within Supply Chain Systems. In this role you will develop, perform analysis and research of processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design.

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Conducting Workshops and Contribute towards process solutioning

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams comprising of business SMEs, Architects, Developers and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems for projects and products

  • Identify, recommend, and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation

  • Translating Functional Specifications into Application design documents, co-ordination with ABAP team, testing of new functionality or Enhancements, Prepare Test plans and Test scripts, Perform Unit tests and integration tests

  • Participate in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues

  • Exposure to usage of SAP Solution Manager

  • Ability to handle and lead the development of WRICEF objects independently in collaboration with ABAP team.

  • Certifications in either SAP PS or S/4 HANA will be an added advantage

  • Knowledge and Experience of SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods

  • Contribute for overall project management plan using SAP Activate methodology

  • Experience with SAP S/4 Hana and FIORI

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • At least 10-12 years of overall business experience in SAP Project Systems and Production Planning, With 10+ years in SAP PS ( Primary ) and PP Consulting with implementation experience, including at least one E2E full life cycle implementation in SAP S/4 HANA.

  • Experience with SAP Project Systems and Production Planning in large, complex business environments, particularly in the Aerospace and Defense industry is an added advantage

  • Experience of S/4 HANA and should be well aware of the S/4HANA road-map, aware of differences between various releases and new innovations that are brought in each of the S/4HANA release.

  • Sound knowledge of working with interfaces.

  • In depth knowledge of SAP module specific User exits, batch jobs and standard SAP reports.

  • Configuration of standard network template and operative network activities, relationships, and dependencies.

  • Customization of network scheduling and capacity planning.

  • Setup of activity elements, milestones, and task lists.

Materials Management:

  • Configuration of material components, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and procurement processes.

  • Setup of material availability checks and reservations.

  • Integration with Materials Management (MM) for inventory control and procurement.

Project Execution and Control:

  • Configuration of project progress tracking, status management, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Setup of change management processes and version control.

  • Customization of project execution workflows and approval processes.

  • Reporting and Analytics:

  • Customization of standard and custom reports using SAP Fiori, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud.

  • Setup of dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and real-time analytics.

  • Configuration of report distribution, scheduling, and access controls.

Cost Planning and Budgeting:

  • Configuration of cost planning methods, cost elements, and cost centers.

  • Setup of budget profiles, availability control, and budget release.

  • Integration with Controlling (CO) for cost tracking and reporting.

Resource Management:

  • Configuration of resource types, resource pools, and work centers.

  • Setup of resource allocation, leveling, and utilization tracking.

  • Integration with Human Capital Management (HCM) for personnel resources.

Revenue and Billing:

  • Configuration of revenue planning, billing elements, and revenue recognition.

  • Setup of billing plans, billing milestones, and integration with Sales and Distribution (SD).

  • Customization of project invoicing and revenue settlement.

  • Risk and Issue Management:

  • Configuration of risk categories, risk assessment, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Setup of issue logs, action plans, and escalation procedures.

  • Integration with project reporting for risk and issue monitoring.

Time Management:

  • Configuration of time recording, timesheet approval, and integration with project costing.

  • Setup of work schedules, time quotas, and absence management.

  • Integration with Time Management (TM) and Payroll.

Good to have

  • Understanding of SAP Production planning including material master, latest MRP Types and FIORI apps, MRP areas, all relevant values in MRP view, BOMS, alternatives, Routing and advanced routing knowledge , strategy groups in depth, Usage of stock requirements

  • Understanding of special planning procedures along with interchangeability functionality

  • Understanding of Discrete and repetitive manufacturing along with associated configurations

  • Knowledge of central function activities ECM/OCM

  • Integration touch points with Sales/Procurement/Costing

  • Working knowledge with WBS

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+5 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
