Oracle Software Engineer IV in BENGALURU, India

Expectations

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local laws

  • Work in accordance with corporate and security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

Responsibilities

Requirements :

Past experience using macros and ability to write complex macros.

Experience with de-structuring.

Familiarity with advanced concepts like protocols.

Good understanding of functional programming paradigm.

Experience with multi-threading and parallel processing.

Strong knowledge of Java or JVM based languages.

Experience working with distributed system.

Past experience of building scalable, performant, and secure services/modules.

Good understanding of testing methodologies.

Experience with CI/CD technologies.

Experience with observability tools like Spunk, New Relic, etc

Good understanding of versioning tools like Git/SVN.

Good to have :

Experience building DSL's.

Experience with rule engine's such as JBOSS Drools, Clara, etc.

Good understanding of big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop Map Reduce, Crunch, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 9 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

  • At least 3 years software engineering work experience

  • At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
