LinkedIn Business Platform is a central platform that enables monetization on LinkedIn globally. LinkedIn Business Platform, LBP for short, powers all of the LinkedIn businesses - with an uber goal to create a channel-neutral GTM strategy with an Online-first focus. LBP is a set of products and platforms that help each business create new products, sell them effectively and enable aspects of product administration. This platform fuels and enables end-to-end experience for our customers, including checkout, billing, provisioning, administration & license management.

As a Product Manager on Foundations, your focus will be Payments Trust & Compliance. You will be responsible for building global payment products and features with special focus on increasing payments trust on LinkedIn, in partnership with the different lines of businesses. You will work closely with the Trust and Safety team, Microsoft and others to develop a framework to increase trust across geographies and channels. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with new regulations & requirements from various entities like governments, consumer protection agencies, tax authorities, payment partners, app stores (Apple, Google), Microsoft etc.

You will have a strong focus on evolving the payments domain. You will work to gather business requirements and build out a solution that is architected in a platform-first way that not only enables near-term business needs, but also creates leverage to support growth long term.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and lead analyses of the competitive environment, customers and product metrics to build innovative features and platform enhancements, especially related to payments product and platform.

  • Develop a comprehensive product and marketing roadmap to deliver on business goals

  • Drive global product requirements definition, product planning and product design (including writing PRDs) of new features and enhancements

  • Stay tuned with all the payment industry developments/regulations and its impact on LinkedIn.

  • Work cross-functionally and with the Product Development team to bring features live to the site

  • Fluently communicate product benefits to our users and internal stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in a technology-related field

  • 7+ years of experience in a product management or equivalent role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building web products with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch, preferably in an e-commerce environment

  • Experience in payments, payment systems and understand the tools and reporting required for customers to manage and reconcile payment sales

  • Fluent communications skills and collaborative in nature, ability to make the complex seem simple; Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to shift from developing and communicating a strategy to executing in a cross-functional, matrixed organization

  • Experience with growing a online subscription business

  • Knowledge of the Internet, emerging web technologies and community building

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and their relevance to the marketplace

  • Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams
