Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the outsourced application managed service solution. This includes managing the day-to-day activities, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The Operations Manager will work closely with the service provider, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of services.

Responsibilities:

• 7+ years experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of the outsourced application managed service solution.

• Ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with the service provider to define and implement operational processes and procedures.

• Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

• Manage and resolve any operational issues or escalations promptly.

• Conduct regular service reviews with the service provider to assess performance and address any concerns.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Collaborate with the service provider to develop and implement a disaster recovery plan and ensure business continuity.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in managed services and make recommendations for improvements.

• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance and status of the managed service solution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience in managing outsourced vendor-managed service solutions.

• Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

• Familiarity with cloud computing, specifically AWS (Amazon Web Services) technologies is a plus.
