S enior Finance professional with 15+ Years of experience in Plant Accounting, Reporting and Operations Finance.

Job Title:

Senior Manager - Finance

Job responsibilities:

  • Monthly Financials :

  • Month close activities completion as per timelines

  • Approver of monthly JV for month close

  • Review of details with the business segment for Day 2 estimate etc

  • Analysis of the financials/KPIs’ and actions for P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Cost Control, CPH, Headcount

  • Responsible for corrective actions related to variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results

  • Balance Sheet Review

  • ARMS approver

  • Responsible for closing the action items with respect to ARMS open item closing/Reconciliation

  • Participate in monthly PDPR /business reviews of the business segment

  • Costing :

  • Control and manage Operational and Product Costs in line with Business Case- monitor and publish Transfer Prices

  • Release transfer pricing as per the timelines after discussion with respective parent value stream

  • Review Variances analysis and corrective actions along with operations

  • Capex :Review e-CAR with respect to financial data (IRR/NPV etc.)

  • AOP and LRP: Responsible for AOP and LRP for the respective business segment as per the timelines

  • Ownership of HFM load of AOP and LRP as per the timelines

  • SIOP: Discussion with operations and analyzing the impact into forecast

  • Inventory management

  • Tier Meeting: Participation in Tier meeting and support the value stream in resolving the issues pertaining to finance matters

  • Taxation: Ensure robust levels of compliance in all Tax and Compliance matters for the business unit.

  • Monthly meeting: Conduct monthly meetings with value stream operation head and leadership team of the respective value stream

  • CORE / Automation :Lead the CORE and Automation projects related to Finance function in respective value stream

  • Internal Controls :Ensure internal financial controls environment is established and in compliance with US GAAP, SOX and legal statutory requirements

  • Stakeholder Management and Business Partnering:

  • Anticipates, participates and advises in business decision making and business reviews as a partner to business leaders ensures financial impact understanding of proposed solutions.

  • Articulates financial result and forecasts at higher levels of the organization.

  • Leads selection/implementation of forecasting strategies and best practices.

  • In-depth understanding of data flow from raw financial records through complex organizational reports.

  • Co-Leads with Business Managers the risk management process.

  • Identifies and implements efficiency opportunities in financial processes.

  • Work with the Local and Global Management in all Financial matters relating to the value stream business in India.

  • Implementing and maintaining all necessary legal requirements and protocols; strictly maintain business confidentiality and adhering to local statutory requirements.

  • Team Development

    Qualifications:

  • A Finance and Accounts Professional – Chartered or Cost Accountant

  • Around15 Years of experience in Plant Accounting, Reporting and Operations Finance.

  • Will be a part of the local Controlling Group and reporting to India Operations Director Finance.

  • Around 15 years (post qualification) direct experience in finance/Accounting and in managing Finance for multi-business, multi-product business and in managing teams.

  • Familiarity with US GAAP reporting in large manufacturing MNCs Experience in managing international businesses preferred. Strong communication, people-management and managerial skills is essential.
