Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer 3 Analyst to extend our world-class information technology environment further. This is primarily an individual contributor role who would collaborate with the Agile scrum team when designs and solution deliverables are needed. This role requires the ability to concisely evaluate the business data and information requirements of our globally dispersed transfer pricing setup and recommend and drive solution direction and design. As a Software Development Engineer 3, you will be joining a global team with multiple applications to support. Responsibilities

• Work with Agile scrum team on the Financial and business processes in the areas of Tax and intercompany and other similar transaction-based globally on several business models

• Set up BPC and associated SAP S4 configuration as per the requirements of business.

• Works with business stakeholders to understand, analyse, evaluate the business requirements and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.

• Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and reconciles conflicts.

• Dissects high-level information into details and effectively communicate details in a manner understood by relevant audiences.

• Analysis of existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, may perform configuration, tests, and rollouts to business users and customers.

• Able to Test solutions and ensures they meet business requirements and are “fit-for-purpose.” Presents and validates solutions with business partners.

• Creates and executes test plans, Work with the Development team to report defects and provide process steps.

• Collaborate with Product Owner/Scrum Master/Team Lead/Architect for successful execution of the project.

• Participates in software estimation process, and Agile estimation techniques.

• Balances out business requirements with technical feasibility. Recommends changes in business process, development, maintenance and system standards.

• Be part of the Agile team and participate in all Agile activities (standups, planning, validations, etc.)

• The position utilizes both analytical and programming skills.

• Keep your ear to the ground and help us incorporate industry best practices and important developments into our products

• Able to discuss with customer community (internal and external customers) and the development team.

• Consult with project stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into functional and non-functional and technical requirements as needed. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.

• Dissect high-level information into details and communicate these details in a manner understood by relevant audiences.

• Where possible, influence requirements and process to effectively utilize systems and applications without customization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in engineering or Post Graduation – Masters in Computer Application or an MBA or related discipline or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum 6-7 years of SAP BPC Embedded, SAP BW4HANA, SAP ABAP experience.

• 4-6 full life cycle implantation project experience in SAP BPC Embedded and SAPBW4HANA.

• Minimum 1 year of SAP SAC or SAP PaPM Implementation experience.

• Doing thorough development for the new feature/enhancement in SAP BPC 10.1.

• Sound Financial knowledge to handle new financial and accounting requirement.

• A clear understanding of the business process, including Finance, Tax and Supply Chain.

• Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills.

• Ability to work in a different time zone as the project demands.

• Experience with Scrum and Agile Processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in creating the BW objects using Hana Studio/Eclipse such as Info Objects, info Providers, modelling, Bex Queries, Data sources, Process-chains.

• Should have Hands-on experience in Analysis of Office to create input forms, reports for financial planning and consolidation.

• 6+ years of Experience in BW/BPC – ABAP creating routines and Custom Planning sequences.

• Should have good understanding of Financial process for the intercompany postings , Master data such as GL, Cost Centers, Customers, Vendors etc.

• Should have basic implementation experience in SAP PaPM or SAC.

• Has good understanding of SAP Finance and basic understanding of Tax and SD flow

• Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint

• Proficient in creating an E2E Process flow documentation.

• Good experience in testing, UAT testing and Business User communication.

• Experienced in OpenText e-invoicing/returns is a plus .

• Experienced in tax calculation using Vertex is a plus.

• Experience in Test Plan Creation, Familiarity in designing and developing test scenarios/cases for functional and regression testing.

• Accountable with ownership and commitment, Adaptable with goal driven teamwork

• Self-navigating learner who is eager to learn new skills.

• Experience with Agile methodology and process

• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in both process and solution analysis

• Being able to articulate and communicate in both written and oral forms to various types of audiences (developers to managers to business owners)

• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently as appropriate.

• Mature directness to communicate honest opinions on technology, process, and approach--putting in efforts to improve them.

• Bias the action and strive to get things done as a team.
