Google Program Manager, Process Excellence in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience leading and completing process design or process improvement projects.

  • 5 years of experience in Staffing/HR processes (or other service industries).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Lean or Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.

  • Experience conducting statistical analyses of process performance in a business environment.

  • Experience with design thinking, change management and project management methodologies

  • Experience leading and successfully landing change management initiatives and knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.

  • Experience with creating and analyzing critical user journey maps.

  • Ability to determine customer requirements, define process measures, identify root causes, design process improvements, and measure project outcomes.

  • Lead or collaborate on cross-functional, global programs, focused primarily on business process improvement, process design, process management, and the change management necessary to drive adoption of new practices.

  • Manage relationships with clients in People Operations and partner engineering teams to understand and assess their unique challenges and to build advisory relationships.

  • Collect and document business requirements and partner with engineering teams to translate them into system requirements. Write project charters, problem statements, and business cases.

  • Establish meaningful process measures, determine root causes, and identify meaningful improvements.

  • Create and deliver effective presentations and written communications to keep stakeholders informed and educated on complex business change initiatives.
