Manage customer Go-Live programs involving department or cross-functional teams focused on production cutovers through a standard and managed process. Interface with external customers and/or their partners to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Monitor the Go-Live engagement from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal teams and customers on technical matters. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the Go-Live on schedule and with the highest customer satisfaction.

Work is non-routine, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Overall 10 years of experience with 5 years in project management, product design, production go-live support or related experience preferred. Ready to work in shifts 24x7

North America Cloud Infrastructure is looking for experienced program managers who will drive a program focused on customer experience and ensure timely delivery of customer Go-Lives.

What is Go Live Assurance?

The Go-Live Assurance program provides assistance to a planned customer’s Go-Live. It is a standardized, best-practices-based program to successful Go-Live and removes customer product cutover risk concerns due to factors outside their control. It is aimed at lowering risk and delivering a superior customer experience through successful go-live and stabilization in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This is an augmented service to fill in any gaps in the current plan, and make sure customers have a single touch point to coordinate all of their needs during the Go-lives.

What You’ll Do

Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the Go-Live on schedule and with the highest customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Bring

You have that rare combination—a sharp technical aptitude and an understand of business. You’ll use this to help customers achieve real-world success with our products. Lead a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interact with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, and thorough understanding of customer’s production deployment cycles and challenges. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Need 5 years of project management with at least 2 years of deploying cloud-based solutions (OCI, GCP, Azure, AWS).

We are looking for candidates to be based in the locations - Bangalore/Hyderabad/NCR/Chennai/Pune, India with the following skills and experience:

  • Coordinate the team throughout all Go-Live project phases.

  • Manage end-to-end customer production cutovers involving department or cross-functional teams, customers/partners, focused on production cutovers through Go-Live processes.

  • Work with Support teams following best practices to resolve SRs.

  • Manage timely communications and acknowledgments with external and internal stakeholders (clients, sponsors, executives etc.)

  • Manage diverse project teams.

  • Execute the go-live assurance process as projects.

  • Lead stand-ups and meetings, and ensure teams have all information for timely deliveries.

  • Manage communication with external and internal stakeholders (clients, sponsors, executives, etc.)

  • Escalation management

  • Ensure customer satisfaction with a satisfaction survey rating of > 80%

  • Drive positive customer sentiment through go-live experience and create referenceable customers

  • Drive continuous improvements through lessons learnt

  • Experience in process improvements based on lessons learnt, best practices, proactive measures

  • Communication skills to convey complex ideas and topics to multiple audiences

  • Good to have experience with project management tools like Wrike, MS Project

  • PMP certification is a must.

  • Support customer go-live’s in shifts and on weekends. GLA team provides 24x7 shift coverage including night shifts on weekends.

A fully competent project management professional who has a broad understanding of solutions and industry best practices. This first-level project management position provides consistent creative and high quality solution leadership ensuring Go-Lives’ quality and timely delivery to the customer’s satisfaction.

Employs independent judgment in guiding highly complex activities involved in the successful implementation of an integrated business solution, ensuring project Go-lives’ quality and timely delivery to the customer’s satisfaction. Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies, policies, and procedures while adhering to contractual obligations, thereby minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure. Effectively influences decisions at the management level of customer organizations. Ensures deliverables are acceptable and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations. Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain credibility. Manages the scope of small projects and sub-projects.

10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of project management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.
