Oracle Principal Member Technical Staff in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

As a member of the software engineering division, will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.Work is non-routine and very sophisticated, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.6-10+ years of software engineering or related experience.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as Frontend Developer with React and Typescript.

  • Software development principles, design patterns, and standard processes.

  • Lead and mentor other front-end developers, encouraging a collaborative and hard-working environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Technical Skills

Must-Have

  • Experience of Front-End Developer with expertise in React, React Query or TanStack, Axios, and Redux Toolkit.

  • Understanding of TypeScript and JavaScript (ES5+)

  • Strong understanding of front-end architecture and design patterns.

  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of web designing and web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS3

  • Experience with state management, API integration, and asynchronous programming.

  • Excellent communication & teamwork skills.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience working on Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (OJET)

  • Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker.

  • Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Familiarity with basic Linux.

Additional Considerations

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and frameworks.

  • Effective fixing and debugging skills.

  • Awareness of industry trends and new technologies
