Job Description

Lead – Middleware (IIB ACE)

Our Team

We work for multiple clients with presence across the globe. We work in Banking and Financial Services domain and one of the industry leading solution providers for the Client. We are responsible for the enhancements to the existing platform/Services to cater to the growing business needs based on industry trends, either functionally or technically and provide state of the art solution offerings.

The solution involves offering core banking surround services and enhancements.

Looking for strong experience in Middleware layer who would be responsible for/to:

  • Lead the Design and development of complex EAI and SOA/ESB solutions using IBM Integration Bus ACE

  • Experience in integration with Core Banking Solution, preferably Oracle FLEXCUBE

  • Providing solutions with Integration Patterns and Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture

  • Developing different types of integrations on IIB/WMB, e.g. SOAP Web-Services, Restful Services, MQ based integrations, etc.

  • Creating views, stored procedures, triggers, implementing referential integrity, as well as designing and coding for performance

  • Working with RDBMS systems (e.g.: Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Teradata)

  • Designing stable, scalable middleware Application

  • Identify potential improvements to the current middleware design/process

  • Expertise in XML, XSLT, Gateway Scripts, JSON, XPATH, etc.

  • Experience working with SOAP/REST based Web Services

  • Have good hands-on experience of ESQL, Java

  • Troubleshooting and follow escalation procedures to resolve the issue

  • Good team player and ability to work on own initiatives with minimal direction

Your Opportunity

You will be responsible for applying your extensive knowledge on developing, maintaining workflow codes using IBM Integration Bus to convert the business requirements into deployable code. You would be responsible for the entire development life cycle viz., development till production implementation.

Your Qualifications

  • Any Computer Science based graduation [BE/BTech/MCA]

  • 6-12 years in software development

  • Hands-on development experience in IBM Integration Bus ACE (IIB ACE)

  • Experience in Banking Domain

  • Good understanding of SOA suite and integrations on IIB

  • Good analytical skills and presentation skills

  • Good Communication Skills

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Core banking domain knowledge

  • Prior experience of Oracle FLEXCUBE Surround services projects

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively and appropriately.

  • Experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming

  • Experience in IIB with experience in SOAP/REST based Web Services

  • Oracle FLEXCUBE backend data model knowledge

  • Experience of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • To be flexible in approach and able to manage changing priorities

Filtration criteria:

  • 7-10 years of experience in IBM Integration Bus ACE (IIB ACE)

  • Exposure to other middleware tools like OSB

  • Expertise in XML, XSLT, GatewayScripts, JSON, XPATH, etc.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

As an integral part of the development team you will be responsible for the following –

  • Understanding the requirements from the Functional Team

  • Understanding the Technical Design

  • Estimating the development efforts

  • Developing the code that aligns to the technical design and coding standards

  • Conduct Peer-Code Reviews for early detection of defects and code quality

  • Support the testing phase (System Testing, SIT, UAT, Non-Regression Testing) and ensure quick turnaround of defect fixes

  • Exposure to Oracle FLEXCUBE product is an added advantage

  • Delivery of secure and clean code that is stable, well tested, operational, consistent and well-performing

  • Participate in multiple project discussions as a senior member of the team

  • Ability to handle day to day support activities and middleware admin related activities.

  • Troubleshooting and follow escalation procedures to resolve the issue
