The Design Lead plays a critical role in guiding and inspiring our Design team. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the design process for interior fit-out projects, ensuring we deliver creative and high-quality solutions that meet client expectations and project goals.

  • 15+ yrs experience in Interior Design ( Workplace Design + Workplace strategy )

  • Educational qualification – Bachelor of Architecture / Master of Architecture.

  • Creative Design thinking , workplace strategy ,Presentation Skills and Client Management skills – key criteria of evaluation

  • He / she will lead the Design Creative Cell for Design Collective India – Regional role.

  • Additional experience on Architecture , Retail , Hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities:

· Project Leadership: Lead the design team in developing and executing creative concepts for interior fit-out projects. Manage project timelines and ensure designs meet deadlines. Collaborate with project managers to understand client requirements, budgets, and project constraints. Oversee the design process from initial concept development to final documentation. Design Management: Establish and maintain high design standards for all projects. Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to design team members based on their skills and expertise. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering their professional development. Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure design quality Client Communication: Effectively present design concepts and proposals to clients, addressing their concerns and feedback. Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the design process. Manage client expectations and ensure project satisfaction. Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date on current trends, technologies, and materials in the interior design field. Conduct research and identify innovative solutions to enhance project design. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality materials.

· Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, furniture layout, colour theory, and lighting design. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator). Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Passion for design and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
