About the Team

The Solutions Consulting team at Eightfold is a tight knit and diverse group of high performers. In a fast paced environment, we deliver spectacular experiences for all of our prospects, customers and partners. We believe to be successful you must have grit, be authentic, and stay a student of the game for Solutions Consulting and Human Resources. We collaborate closely with our Sales peers, work with Product team members often, and build long term relationships with our customers.

This role is technical in nature, and not customer facing. It is focused on configuration of Eightfold’s software, and technical maintenance of the demonstration environments and demo infrastructure. Types of activities you may contribute to include, but are not limited to:

• Understand the value of our software and how to convey that in use case-based demos that our customers want to see.

• Build and maintain a demo environment infrastructure, so the SE team has reliable, scalable, and compelling demo instances.

• Update the demo environments with new features, configurations, and data every quarter.

• Create documentation and enablement materials, including example demos.

• Troubleshoot issues in the demo instances.

• Collaborate with SEs, Engineering, Support, Operations and Enablement.

• Utilize demo automation apps

• Build tools to simplify and streamline the demo design and configuration process (data loaders, library of assets, storyboard templates, demo building best practices, etc.)

• Invent, and champion for, improvements that make our demos better, our environments more stable/secure, and ways to lessen the demo build burden on SEs.

• Manage the overall demo tenant(s) and develop strategy for each tenant’s use. This could include:

• Plan for when to refresh data/configuration between environments

• Standards for data creation

• Definition/documentation of environments

• Naming conventions

• Technical documentation of configurations

• User/Role configurations & mapping to personas

• Be the Demo SME for other technical groups within the org (Implementation, Enablement, SE, etc)

What we need:

• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and documentation skills

• Attention to detail and ability to pinpoint errors.

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and direction

• Experience with programming concepts and ability to create custom demo tools:

• JSON (must have)

• XML (must have)

• Python (nice to have)

• SQL (nice to have)

• Creative problem solver

• An affinity for the startup space, AI technology, and a desire to own, build, and grow both yourself, your team, and the entire organization

• A positive attitude

• Willingness to work late nights, to talk with coworkers in California, USA

Great to have, but not required:

• Experience with demo automation software

• Experience using or building AI software

• Familiarity with recruiting and HR
