Tasks

• Design and develop software architectures and source code for the Linux embedded system for passenger information systems

• Coordination of software interface alignments and engage standardizations with software developers, software integrators, method experts and customers

• Responsible for the technical leadership of a software team

• Define and review tasks for other team members

• Mentoring less experience engineers

• Creating requirements documents

Profile

• 8+ years of professional experience as an embedded software developer

• Deep understanding of software architecture using UML standards

• Experience in working with international companies

• Very good knowledge in C++ as well as very good knowledge in object-oriented programming

• Very good knowledge of Linux systems

• Deep knowledge in embedded programming C++ for Linux. Experience with Yocto-based systems is a plus

• Clear understanding on driver, hardware abstraction layers, middleware and application software for power electronics

• Good analytic skills, goal- and solution-oriented and good ability to make decisions

• Experience with work package management

• Experience in working with customer

• Having worked on the development of an embedded device in a leading role

• A very strong ability to communicate and work in a team

• Excellent knowledge of English (in writing & speaking)
