Nestle Production Planner _ Benevento Factory in Benevento, Italy

  • A previous experience as Production Planner is highly appreciated

  • Fluent Italian and English.

Position Summary

To Develop, maintain and improve Production Plan on a weekly basis at SKU level for a portfolio of products, to ensure Customer Service for all markets and satisfy customer needs taking into account the factory complexity and the supply constraint. To manage and guide, from a planning point of view, all new products launches and changes.

A Day in the Life of Production Planner

  • Develop, maintain and improve a Production Plan at SKU level and on weekly basis for a portfolio of products, which represents the most optimized plan considering factory constraints, costs and customer demand

  • Validate and challenge volumes for new launches, validating feasibility considering MOQ and timing

  • Focus on shelf life of products in order to mitigate risks of bad goods

  • Communicate with Factory Supply Chain in order to react in case of important changes or promos impacting short term period

  • Challenge Factory Supply Chain in order to improve lot sizes and line efficiency

  • Challenge Demand Planners to improve Demand Planning Accuracy

  • Establish the production plan to ensure Customer Service and satisfy customer needs considering the network complexity and the supply constraints.

  • Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location

  • Analyze exceptions, take business decisions within agreed Framework (based on priorities or after arbitration and product allocation) and adjust planning results accordingly. Establish production requirements for short and long term and to follow up on production plans.

  • Establish and periodically review stock policies for Finished Goods

  • Ensures proper Master Data settings and Event Management related SNP visibility (launches, re-launches, discontinuations)
