Structural EITJob Description

Multi-disciplinary Structural firm located in Bend is looking for a Structural EIT to join their growing team. This person will be responsible for the design of single-family homes, public structures, and various other building structures. They will work with a variety of building materials including wood, steel, and concrete, and be knowledgeable in a variety of building codes. Project types include single custom homes, apartments, K-12, public works, commercial, and retail structures.

• Support on designs of single-family homes

• Work with a team of engineers to review and make changes to design

• Review projects in process and make recommendations on designs

• Work on 2-5 projects at a time

• Create and review structural assessment reports

• Make independent decisions once proficient with building codes

Work Site

• This is a fully on-site position in Bend, Oregon.

• Small team of 7, will be in office to learn and be trained. The team includes 2 structural engineers, a mid-level engineer, an entry-level engineer, and an admin/office person.
