How You’ll Shine

The Recreation Associate is responsible for operating point of sale systems, checking guests in for an activity, merchandising products, maintaining quality assurance standards in the retail area and other duties as assigned. They are responsible for living our “Hospitality with Heart” culture by connecting with our guests and creating an outstanding experience. The Recreation Associate will also act as a concierge by recommending local attractions, events and recreation that will deliver a great vacation for our guest. Recreation Associates also answer the phone and take reservations for our ice skating parties.

What You’ll Bring

  • Food Handlers Card, OLCC off premise sales

  • Must be 18 years of age due to OLCC requirements

  • Cash handling skills

  • Must be warm and welcoming

  • Knowledge of Central Oregon Recreation and Attractions

  • Micros, MS Office Suite, Web Applications

  • Creativity and customer obsession

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement when interacting with guests and team members

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Willingness to learn new programs such as company reporting and associate timekeeping

  • Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement)

  • One year of experience in customer service or recreation
