Pay Info: Pay stats at $31 and increases according to years of applicable experience.

Job Summary

Provides day-to-day work guidance, utilizing a combination of knowledge and experience to provide technical direction. Required to maintain a high degree of technical competency in the areas of responsibility. The Supervisor, TechPoint provides input on and enforces standard methods for supporting Sanford Health's current and future technology needs.

Acts as a mentor to the TechPoint staff. Assesses work for completeness, efficiency, accuracy and adherence to standards. Continuously monitors for quality and makes improvements as necessary. Leads others in identifying improvements to processes. Ability to react calmly and effectively in stressful situations. Possesses vision and values that are compatible with the organization. Skillful at managing change. Demonstrates proven project development and management skills. Assists with budgeting and purchasing process to ensure optimum value.

Meets with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors and other to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. Directs daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.

Accountable as a resource to team members in department as well as other departments in the organization. Approves time off requests, and signs off on employee timecards. Maintains schedule to ensure proper staffing at all times. Responsible for the interviewing, hiring, discipline of employees and any other personnel issues that arise. Completes performance appraisals.

Must have experience providing excellent customers service in a prompt and professional manner and have the ability to work independently, balancing multiple tasks within deadlines. Must be comfortable managing change with excellent problem solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of education, five years applicable experience in customer service and/or leadership roles.

Proven experience providing customer service or interacting with diverse populations of people. IT/computer experience preferred.

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification required or to be completed within six months of hire.
