A position that requires a blend of technical abilities along with strong leadership. This role develops, leads, and implements the Asset Health Management (AHM) program. This program will provide best practice solutions and programs in the areas of maintenance strategies, continuous improvements, and bad actor management. What You Will Do: Lead and develop a team of maintenance and reliability professionals that provide support, guidance, oversight, and services related to the Region's Asset Health management program. Ensure that maintenance and reliability practices are incorporated into the work management program. Develop, lead, and implement the elements of the AHM program including the following: Develop and maintain specific asset type maintenance task best practice library including troubleshooting guides Develop and implement asset health reporting program including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Develop maintenance strategies for all new equipment as part of projects or replacements Develop and maintain a continuous improvement program for AHM program Develop and maintain a bad actor management program with KPIs Responsible for providing SME support to technical groups within the Region. Responsible for minimizing new equipment installation defects by ensuring that the Maintenance and Reliability Services group participates in new equipment procurement reviews, installations, and commissioning. Responsible for effective Maximo project integration of functional tags, Preventative Maintenance (PMs), asset records, and equipment manuals for new projects. Ensure that outage coordination activities optimize system performance. Collaborate with equipment SME's and OEM to correct equipment reliability issues. Ensure Regional Maintenance Support staff is prepared and can respond to a pipeline emergency. Represent the Region on the Maintenance Advisory Team (MAT). Host mini-MAT meetings to ensure effective communication of information to the technician level. Establish and drive standard process and consistency of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) Program. Assist with the develop of and support the technical training program to meet the needs of the Region. Identify and sponsor specialized technical training to ensure staff can meet reliability goals and targets. Provide positive leadership to staff to enhance safety culture and coaching on operations, maintenance, and reliability excellence across the region. Who You Are: Related university degree and seven-plus years of experience OR nine-plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience. Strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of organization and hierarchy, and experience in Pipeline Operations. Strong leadership skills and organizational skills. Ability to work and efficiently communicate at all levels in the organization to gather information and promote improvements. Experienced in advocating for improvements. Experience with measurement equipment, rotating equipment, electrical systems, and mechanical systems. Ability to initiate and lead change, be innovative, think strategically, and work well with teams Experience with Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Technologies preferred (i.e. vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, motor circuit analysis, ultrasonic inspection.) Exposure to systems engineering principles and reliability tools such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and RCM a benefit preferred. Registration as a CMRP or CRL preferred.
