Play a key role in shaping the success of our organization as an HR Business Partner for a large Manufacturing Operations plant facility. In this dynamic and strategic role, you will align, advise, and collaborate with business leaders to drive impactful Human Resources initiatives across Organizational Development, Talent Management, Compensation, and Employee Relations.

You will anticipate HR-related needs and develop innovative, integrated solutions that support both business goals and employee success. Acting as a trusted partner, you will provide value-added guidance to senior leadership, champion employee needs, and drive change with confidence. Responsibilities:

  • Act as the sole HR Business Partner for a large manufacturing plant, building strong relationships with senior leadership and shop-floor employees.

  • Drive talent strategy, including pipeline development, succession planning, and talent growth initiatives.

  • Provide performance management guidance, including coaching, career development, and disciplinary support.

  • Partner with site leaders to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.

  • Support workforce planning, business restructures, and staffing needs in collaboration with site leadership and Talent Acquisition.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws while applying expertise in HR disciplines such as compensation, employee relations, and diversity.

The salary range provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided. Salary $84,900 – $120,000.

You bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Management, or Business (Master’s preferred).

  • 5–8 years of HR Generalist/Business Partner experience, preferably in manufacturing or plant environments.

  • HR certification (HRCI, SHRM) preferred; strong knowledge of employment laws and practices.

  • Proven ability to drive change, and challenge the status quo effectively. Experience with M&A initiatives a plus.

  • Strong communication, influence, and relationship-building skills in a matrixed environment.

  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SuccessFactors experience a plus.
