Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic, responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance on motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and production machines. Your role will include following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions. You will dismantle devices using hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools to remove defective parts and inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Additionally, you will adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques, and maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.

Work Environment

This position is based in an industrial laundry facility where loud conveyors are continuously operating throughout the day, moving laundry through each phase. Two shifts are available: a more senior role on the 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 11:30 PM) and an entry-level position on the 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday, 11 PM - 7:30 AM).
