ASRC Federal Highland Technologies seeks Developer .Nets in Beltsville, MD.

Job Duties:

  • Provide guidance and structure for creating and maintaining software infrastructure.

  • Develop, test and deploy code (primarily using MS visual Studio in .NET and C# environment) with an emphasis on both front-end methodologies and server-side programming.

  • Design and develop web services components for cross-application solutions.

  • Interact with system designers and provide feedback on design modules.

  • Perform testing on developed code (initial and regression)

  • Coordinate and prioritize application modifications and bug fixes.

  • Participate and contribute to a team approach to software development and problem solving using Agile/Scrum practices.

  • Work well as part of a development team.

Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements :

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field plus 3 years of experience as Software Developer or related role.

Special Requirements: Experience must include 3 years of experience with each of the following:

  1. Writing, debugging, testing, and documenting web application.

  2. Service-oriented architecture and web application services development.

  3. Cross-browser DHTML and HTML5 web design.

  4. AJAX, DHTML and XHTML, JavaScript development.

  5. SQL, RDBMS, and database principles.

  6. Source code management tools

  7. Agile Development Methodology, especially Scrum
