JOB REQUIREMENTS: Sr. Planner/Master Scheduler - 1137 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Description Job Title: Sr. Planner and Master Scheduler Date: February, 2025 Reports To: Director of Operations Position Summary The Sr. Planner and MS scheduler, plans, and prioritizes orders for internal and external customer deliverables. Principle Duties and Responsibilities * Managing capacity constraints and make resource recommendations to Production Supervisors, Production Control Manager and Manufacturing Manager * Track part deliveries (manufactured and purchased) in support of engine assembly and parts markets * Improve daily ERP system flow by developing systems to improve material flow and information to increase our response time to customers. * Analyze and implement material replenishment options * Coordinate monthly shipment plans * Quote expedited deliveries of spare parts * Assist in long term contract quoting * Lead efforts to right-size inventory levels * Ensure order priorities are in the correct lineup at machines. * Expedite parts when necessary * Create Master Schedule and update it monthly * Monitor shop floor release rates * Calculate asset capacity and make production strategy recommendations * Strategize on duration reduction for all products * Hold supply chain stake holders accountable for manufacturing need dates Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications and Educational Requirements * Bachelor of Science degree in technical or business curriculum required/preferred. * Minimum of 7 years\' experience in a production scheduling or strategic buyer/planning role in a heavy manufacturing environment is preferred. * APICS certifications are a plus. * Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software and experience with Oracle is a plus. * Knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes and experience implementing lean manufacturing principles are required. * Must possess a high level of organizational and communication skills while multitasking on numerous projects as an individual contributor and leading cross functional teams. * Experience with briefing senior leadership on project plans. * Strong LEAN and Operational Excellence experience. * Has the aptitude to be promoted with in 5 years. * Strong business acumen preferred. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://ars2.equest.com/?response_id=addc6d220f9b41571becc68fd0cf8efb Other: Applicants ONLY to apply via URL link provided!
