School/Building: Elementary School

Pay: $25/hr

Position Start Date: ASAP

Terms/Schedule: Mon-Fri 7.5 hrs./day

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.

• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to reinforce learning concepts.

• Support students with daily living skills and personal care needs as required.

• Monitor and document student progress and behavior.

• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other staff to support student learning.

• Prepare instructional materials and classroom activities.

• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

• Participate in professional development and training sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, 48 college credits or an associate’s degree; or pass a formal assessment test (ACT WorkKeys, Parapro-Assessment ETS, or ParaEducator Master Teacher)

• Shall be eligible for Wisconsin Special Education Program Aide Certification #883
