Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Assembler

Job Description

As a Mechanical and Electrical Assembler, you will be working in teams of 2-5 to build different fueling station components and sub-assemblies, compressor stations, and large fueling stations. Your daily tasks will include assembly of parts following work instructions using hand and power tools, bending tube, motor alignment, wiring and soldering electrical parts and components, wire pulling, bending conduit, and troubleshooting electrical issues. You'll also have the opportunity to assemble the products that allow consumers to swipe their card at the gas station pump.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

You will work in a large, clean manufacturing facility with 75 shop employees. Normal 1st shift hours are 6am-4:30pm from Monday to Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays. Current work schedule can extend up to 12 hours, starting between 4:30-6am. Work attire includes steel toes, pants, short sleeve shirts, and eye protection. Music is allowed during work hours. Pay ranges from $18-21 for Mechanical Assemblers and $18-23 for Electrical Assemblers.
