Job Title: Facilities Coordinator
Location: Belmont, CA
Type: Full Time/Contractor
Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Environment: Office Environment on-site
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, eligible for Overtime
Pay Range: $45.00/hour
Job Summary:
Maintain facilities in Belmont headquarters and field offices. Coordinate contractors to maintain quality working environment and meet city, county and government requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day facility requirements
Plan and coordinate facility related needs with department managers
Organize and maintain regularly scheduled maintenance
Participate in corporate safety program
Maintain compliance to regulatory code and permits including full compliance with local Storm Water Pollution & Prevention Program requirements (SWPPP).
Implement, maintain and enforce best known practices of facility security and safety measures. Maintain current facilities emergency contact lists with local security company at all times.
Assist with preparation and management of facilities budget
Coordinate headquarter office moves and satellite office moves including furniture cubicles, security systems, phones, computer related and other equipment
Coordinate development and renewal of facility related contracts
Coordinate with clean room/lab staff for facilities related requirements as needed.
Coordinate department needs and ensure client satisfaction
Manage a variety of external contractors needed to maintain building functionality and processes
Utilize working knowledge of various building systems as trigger to efficient resolution of system problems
Approval of invoices for received goods and services
Other duties as required

Implement, maintain, and enforce best known practices of facility security and safety measures
Required Skills/Abilities:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing a 20K SQ FT building
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in certain aspects of facilities including working knowledge of facility surveillance, fire suppression, life safety, and security systems
Knowledge of cleanroom facilities
Familiarity and sensitivity to wide variety of regulatory requirements
Basic contract negotiation skills and ability to negotiate favorable contractor terms by soliciting multiple bids
Works well independently with minimal supervision
Available to respond to after-hours alarm incidents and emergencies
General knowledge of basic building maintenance including equipment troubleshooting and repair
Good communications skills
Working knowledge of facilities surveillance, life safety systems, security and employee badging systems, int./ext. architectural maintenance, HVAC, lighting, exterior landscape, and landscape irrigation systems
Familiarity with emergency evacuation plans and practice drills, emergency response, and disaster recovery
