Our Investment in You

Salary: $165,000 - $190,000 per year

About You

You are a natural networker and as the Energy Sales Leader, you drive Anvil's most critical market segment, playing a crucial role in extending Anvil's high-quality engineering solutions. You have exceptional skills in complex selling, proven ability to develop and deliver creative solutions, and a hands-on leader mentality. You are part of a small but mighty team, making a large impact in an employee-owned organization with a growth mindset. You are the best at what you do, and you work with the best to deliver client solutions of unmatched quality. 

A Day in the Life of a Sales Leader:

  • Creating and expanding relationships with primarily energy clients related to new sites, capital projects, or upselling opportunities to grow Anvil's core services and specialty solutions.
  • Leading complex selling activities for high profile clients in conjunction with the Anvil delivery team. You lead the strategy and sell internally to deliver a win for the client and Anvil.
  • Proactively creating opportunities through relationship and solution-based selling.
  • Traveling to see clients and be where the action is, typically 30 -- 60% of your work time each month.
  • Taking the initiative to find new growth opportunities and proactively identifying customer needs and solutions. The competition never sees you coming, only leaving with a new contract in hand.

What you'll need:

  • Expectation is 10 years of experience in technical/engineering/construction services including experience in Oil, Gas, and Energy related industries.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of customer networks / relationships and decision making
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Business, or related field OR at least five years of related experience required.
  • Previous account management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems experience a plus.
