Job Summary Our Bellevue office is actively seeking a Wastewater Discipline Lead to spearhead and expand the wastewater discipline in the Pacific Northwest. This pivotal role entails business development, technical leadership, and project management for wastewater treatment infrastructure projects, encompassing process and mechanical engineering design for municipal, private, and industrial clients. Responsibilities & Qualifications Business Development: Collaborate with the Water Sector Manager to execute the strategic plan. Build and nurture key relationships with municipal agencies, industrial clients, developers, and landowners to pursue opportunities and foster business growth. Engage regionally, nationally, and internationally on wastewater pursuits, programs, and sustainability initiatives. Drive business development efforts, identify and pursue strategic opportunities, and lead proposal efforts, including budget and schedule preparation. Project Management: Provide project management and client interface. Lead project execution, ensuring successful delivery, client satisfaction, financial management, resource management, change-order management, and client invoicing. Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary project teams, including subconsultants. Oversee the performance of complex design and contribute to annual planning and quarterly forecasting. Technical Leadership: Direct, train, and mentor team members in various aspects of wastewater treatment. Attend and actively participate in industry-related conferences and events. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Washington (or the ability to obtain) with 15+ years of experience in wastewater treatment, including at least 5 years in a project management role. Additional Information TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $119,900 - $215,900 annually for this position and local market.
