Position summary

T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. The Sr. Technical Architects is located in Bellevue, WA and will define optimized domain architecture for flexibility, reusability, scalability, performance, and availability.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Research, design, and develop computer and network software programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
  • Interact with management to identify solutions for domain architecture.
  • Drive domain strategy and ensure timely implementation by Dev Ops.
  • Partner with domain architects to ensure upstream and downstream system alignment. 
  • Identify gaps in architecture, and assess and define resolutions to mitigate gaps.
  • Prepare and maintain architecture sequence diagrams, data models, and navigation maps. 
  • Develop Architecture Standards and best practices.
  • Gather technical requirements and drive Proof of Concept and technical solutions.
  • Work with Product and IT teams to document system requirements.
  • Resolve existing and new issues in architecture and identify new software design.
  • Execute testing, project management, and implementation of system upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Validate code and address reported issues.

Specific Skills Requirement - must have professional experience in:

  • Software engineering and maintenance using Pivotal Cloud, TKE, AWS, kubernetes, RELIC, Gitlab, SOAP UI, Splunk, SonarQube, and Gitguardian.
  • Creating sequence diagrams, high- and low-level design documents, data models, and solutions for projects involving customer-sensitive data and privacy consent through StarUML, PlantUML, Visual Paradigm, and MySQL.
  • Leading technology projects using Lucid charts and creating architecture using AWS, S3 buckets, and dynamoDb.
  • Developing enterprise applications using JS (Angular, Node, and JQuery), Java Springboot, Adobe Experience Manager, Cassandra, Mongo, and APIGEE.
  • Operating within SAFe, Agile, and Scrum environments.
  • Creating, documenting, and maintaining API Swagger.

Experience and education requirements:

  • PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Information Technology, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Information Technology, or related, and 5 years of related, progressive, post-bachelor's experience.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
