This opportunity entails being responsible for achieving talent needs for assigned business area with focus on more senior roles and difficult to fill roles. Serves as a talent advisor, develops/maintains a strong talent pipeline, and serves as a recruiting process expert.

What You’ll Do:

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with HRD and hiring managers to plan and execute talent needs. Executes staffing for assigned business area, ensuring effective, efficient and compliant recruiting processes, building a strong talent pipeline and ensuring a quality candidate experience to build upon HNTB's reputation.

  • Manages and performs full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing top talent - including executive jobs.

  • Leverages effective sourcing strategies to attract active and passive candidates. Uses employee referral, recruiting boards, internet, social media, industry and community organizations to build a strong talent pool - including diverse talent.

  • Serves as a talent advisor and consults leaders on effective strategies to achieve talent needs and educate and train on recruiting processes.

  • Coaches hiring managers on policy/procedural issues, using excellent interpersonal and influence skills to gain alignment where needed.

  • Executes recruiting practices to conform to all applicable HTNB policies, practices, and governmental regulations.

  • Maintains strong technical knowledge of recruiting best practices, trends and legislative/regulatory activities as they affect recruiting policies or practices.

  • Maintains effective business relationships with other human resource groups, other HNTB teams, external recruiting partners, and other available recruiting sources.

  • May lead staffing related projects. This includes partnering with appropriate internal and external resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on-time and on-budget, while achieving desired goals and objectives.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related area

  • 5 years recruiting experience

  • In lieu of education, 9 years recruiting experience

What We Prefer:

  • 7 years related experience

  • Applicant tracking systems (ATS)

  • Detail oriented/ability to manage high requisition work load

  • Passive recruiting, cold calling, social media experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Demonstrated customer service skills

  • PC proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

The approximate pay range for the Greater Seattle, WA Metro Area is $91,259.50 - $142,739.20. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.

The approximate pay range for Colorado is $87,291.68 - $136,533.16. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
