We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Sr. Program Manager to join our Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD) team. This is an opportunity to work in a customer-facing startup like environment within Amazon. As a Senior Program Manager, you will support our sales organizations in driving the top-line growth of our business. You will own development of a specific segment of our market, and will work closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to drive execution of go to market plans. You will put in place processes and mechanisms that drive visibility into sales efforts and improve conversion rates. You will also serve as a bridge between sales and product teams and help shape the product roadmap through your insights developed by your deep understanding of our product and customers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Conversion: Collaborate with global sales teams to drive conversion for your market segments

  • Sales planning and forecasting: Work with product and sales teams on estimating entitlement, planning goals and forecasting volume growth

  • Lead generation and sales targeting: Work with product, marketing and finance teams to drive lead generation activities (e.g. campaigns, sales promotions). Continuously improve targeting methodology to improve conversion.

  • Lead tracking and sales performance measurement: Work with sales teams and sales ops manager to develop and improve measures.

  • Training and enablement: Drive trainings for the sales teams and serve as a subject matter expert for sales teams

  • Reporting: Own reporting and associated narratives to leadership in conjunction with the product team

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience defining sales performance metrics and driving process improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Technical sales experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
