Our client, a leading telecommunications company, is seeking a Sourcing Manager to join their team. As a Sourcing Manager, you will be part of the procurement department supporting the sourcing team. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What's the Job?

• Define commodity and supplier strategies

• Adopt best-practice commodity management and strategic sourcing processes

• Track category performance relative to targets, and conduct supplier reviews for assigned suppliers

• Communicate clearly with procurement leadership, business stakeholders and team about strategies, contracts, and project updates

• Provide coaching to junior staff, as needed

• Analyze supply market and current supply base

• Build business case

• Build RFx and auction

• Negotiate contract provisions

• Track and report category performance against targets

• On-board suppliers

• Conduct supplier performance reviews

• Monitor contract execution

• Forecast demand

• Identify and recommend future sourcing opportunities

• Analyze data, make retail replenishment decisions, allocation decisions, and supply purchasing decisions

What's Needed?

• At least 7 years of relevant experience

• Experience leading sourcing activities of moderate complexity

• Experience providing support for highly complex or strategic initiatives

• Some ERP planning experience is preferred, demand/supply or allocation planning, any works - preferably in SAP or 09 but not necessary

• Prior work experience in telecom and supply chain is preferred
