Amazon Senior Program Manager, Canada Outbound Transportation Execution in Bellevue, Washington

Description

Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager to own and execute cross-functional supply chain, operations, and transportation execution related initiatives in Canada. This is a highly visible role will develop strategic/execution plans, scope complex and large projects, obtain senior leadership approvals, manage timelines, and communicate to senior management on status, risks, and process changes. You will be responsible for effectively managing a large number of stakeholders across the entire Amazon.com organization including external stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of intricate cross-functional programs, guiding them from inception to successful completion.

  • Define clear and measurable program objectives and continually drive enhancements through the diligent monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Foster collaborative partnerships with both internal and external teams, ensuring efficient allocation and synchronization of resources.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, safeguarding against any obstacles that may impede progress.

  • Take the helm in leading comprehensive cross-functional projects, overseeing the seamless deployment of logistics solutions across Canada.

  • Develop meticulously detailed functional requirements, meticulously tailored to adhere to country-specific compliance standards and regulations.

  • Actively engage with senior management to meticulously define project scope and goals, ensuring alignment with overarching organizational objectives.

  • Continuously refine and optimize project management processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in achieving desired outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Master's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
