Amazon Product Manager, World Wide Design Engineering (WWDE) in Bellevue, Washington

Description

The Product Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of features related to the work request management system used by design teams. They drive stakeholder alignment and collaboration throughout the product lifecycle. The Product Manager supports enhancements on the ticketing system infrastructure, monitor service level agreements (SLAs), drive improvements on metrics capability, and development of Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs).

Key job responsibilities

• Work independently with engineering teams to monitor work request management system and drive stakeholder alignment and collaboration.

• Works with customers to define/clarify features, roadmap priority, and user experience.

• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives in support of intake mechanism and file storage platforms across the organization

• Produces clear documentation and dive deep into standard operation procedures and solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • 3+ years of Product / Program Management experience driving project lifecycles, tracking key performance metrics and driving stakeholder engagement.

  • 2 + year of experience developing technical documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, onboarding documentation, and business review reports.

  • Analytical skills using Excel (analysis using aggregate functions, advanced formulas and pivot tables)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Tableau, Essbase or Cognos)

  • Familiarity with Smartsheet capabilities (nested formulas, dynamic dashboards and reports, cross-sheet referencing, pivots and automation)

  • Experience analyzing datasets, summarizing insights, and communicating key findings to stakeholders.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
