Devices and Services Trust and Privacy (DSTP) is responsible for maintaining and raising the trust bar for Amazon customers across a diverse set of 30+ Devices and Services (D&S). DSTP offers horizontal services for builders and customer-facing capabilities that provides customers with control and transparency and reduce privacy risks, while enabling partner teams to innovate with appropriate guardrails for content moderation, privacy and trust.

Key job responsibilities

We are looking for a self-driven and seasoned Principal Product Manager (Technical) who is laser-focused on customer experience and feels excited about solving complex problems in the domain of privacy and trust. You will lead initiatives across the Alexa and D&S organizations and own product roadmap and execution, tackling problems that have never been tackled before. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting and fast-growing business. You will be working on one of the world’s most cutting-edge technology and will work closely with engineering, science and product leaders across many organizations to build solutions that delight customers. You will be successful if you thrive in inventing in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment, where learning new concepts quickly is a must. You leverage your exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of AI challenges, and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems to creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance products. Your strong communication skills enable you to work effectively with both business and technical partners

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
