Actalent Preconstruction Manager in Bellevue, Washington

Job Title: Preconstruction Manager

Job Description

Responsible for Preconstruction Management for retrofit, expansion, and initiative industrial building projects/programs. Manages all design, schedule, budgeting aspects, ensuring coordination and risk mitigation for on-time project delivery. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors progress. Ensures compliance with design criteria, spending, and transaction policies while influencing cross-functional stakeholders. Prepares reports for upper management regarding project status. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or a related area. Familiarity with various design and construction concepts, practices, and procedures is essential. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs various tasks, leads, and directs the work of others. A high degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 11 Months with the opportunity to extend.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Bellevue, Washington and some days remote.

Work Environment

Empowering high-autonomy environment fostering growth, allowing risk-taking, and solution finding. Hybrid work model with three days in the Bellevue, WA office. The role involves working on dedicated projects individually within certain guidelines provided by the manager. Minimal micromanagement, high volume, and interaction with internal stakeholders up to Senior VP level and external vendors.
