Mechanical Engineer

Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer and work on innovative and complex cross-functional projects. Your focus will be on the creation, modification, and closure of end-of-life material handling and technology systems, including Hardware Controls and Software. The centers come to this team to solve problems within the fulfilment centers to create workable equipment retrofits to implement in to the facility to improve efficiency or reduce damage to products.

• 50% - Mechanical Design

• 30% - Project Management - RFP creation, documentation, and working with vendor

• 20% - Internal stakeholder meetings and meeting with other departments that are requesting help from this team

Hard Skills

• 3 years experience designing/re-designing equipment to increase efficiency or add new technology to the current system

• Experience working with and configuring sensors (vision, depth etc.) and edge compute devices in industrial environments

• Experience with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Project, and Outlook

• Experience or Knowledge in PLCs/Electromechanical equipment (Allen Bradley, Siemens, and/or IPC)

• Experience in AutoCAD, Solid Works
