Leads the build out, development, and management of a team of developers, who will establish and help in building and maintaining systems, platforms and tools. They rapidly deliver world class software solutions to T-Mobile business customers both internal and external. We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a diverse team in the development of a pioneering technology platform that will power innovative financial experiences. This role will work closely with key business partners and product leaders in the fintech space to drive the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a collaborative attitude, and a passion for delivering technology that transforms financial services while meeting business objectives. Job Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a multi-functional team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with business collaborators and product leaders to define and prioritize the development of new financial technology features and capabilities. Supervise the end-to-end delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that meet both technical and business requirements. Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of the platform, ensuring it supports seamless financial experiences and aligns with company goals. Ensure alignment between engineering efforts and key business objectives, translating product vision into actionable engineering plans. Lead resource allocation, timelines, and project landmarks, ensuring successful delivery within agreed-upon timeframes. Continuously assess and improve development processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance team efficiency and product quality. Build strong relationships with business partners, providing technical guidance and ensuring their needs are addressed throughout the development cycle. Promote a high standard of engineering excellence, ensuring code quality, security, and scalability standard methodologies are followed. Leverage a deep understanding of technical integrations with internal platforms and third-party services, ensuring seamless and reliable connectivity while holding integration partners to high standards of performance, security, and reliability. Work Experience: 5+ years proven experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in an engineering management role leading cross-functional teams, preferably in the fintech industry. Proven track record of successfully delivering sophisticated technology platforms in fintech, driving innovation in financial products and services. Experience in driving technical integrations with internal platforms and third-party systems, ensuring high standards of performance, security, and scalability within the fintech ecosystem. Strong background in agile development methodologies, with the ability to prioritize and manage different projects while maintaining a focus on quality and delivery timelines. Demonstrated success in collaborating with business customers and product leaders to align engineering efforts with strategic business goals in fintech.
