Job Overview The Operations Monitoring Manager serves as a Lead in T-Mobile's Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC), overseeing a group of Specialists and Senior Specialists. In this role, you are responsible and accountable for operational direction, activities, and overall performance of the group while ensuring alignment with Corporate Security's mission, goals and objectives and those of key partner organizations. As the shift lead, you will conduct shift briefings and document shift activities for the Director of Intelligence. This role will spearhead improvement initiatives and optimize ESOC workflows, providing support to all Specialists based on volume and daily requirements. You will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic security plans that align with business objectives and mitigate risks. In addition, you are responsible for compiling and reporting on key ESOC performance metrics, managing cross-functional projects, and fostering a culture of readiness within the organization. * This is a salaried position that primarily follows "2nd shift" type hours, with a typical start time of 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM. While the standard schedule will be consistent, occasional adjustments may be required. We are looking for a candidate who can be flexible in their working hours to accommodate team and business needs. * Job Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and report on key monthly ESOC metrics to leadership Lead pre/post shift briefings and shift handovers, while compiling the Daily Shift Report for leadership Manage and provide leadership, mentoring, coaching and career development planning for team members. Audit Specialist activities to ensure quality control Support all Specialist and Senior Specialist shift-based activities as needed based on ESOC activity volume Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelors Degree a plus 7-10 years combined experience in the following fields - Loss Prevention, Fraud Management, Asset Protection, Risk Management or Corporate Security. 4-7 years experience in Corporate Security of which a minimum of 3 years must be at the supervisory/management/leadership level. 2-4 years experience in Security Operations Centers, event triage, and emergency response procedures & processes. 2-4 years experience in medium to large programs, projects and field-impacting tactical operations. Demonstrated broad knowledge and expertise in the application of security-related tools, technology, methods and industry best practices. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative, data-driven solutions. Excellent effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly convey ideas, collaborate with teams, and engage partners. Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
