Human Resources Coordinator

job summary:

A Bellevue company is looking to bring on an HR Coordinator on a contract basis to help out with an acquisition and expanding department. This position sits in the heart of downtown Bellevue and would be a great chance to gain more experience within the HR field.

Requirements:

  • Answer general inquiries from employees and management as it pertains to HR. Forward to appropriate HR team member for additional assistance if necessary.

  • Onboarding for all hourly new hires, collect new hire documents and work with candidates on any missing paperwork or pending documents.

  • Assist with annual open enrollment and enter monthly employee benefit enrollment.

  • Assist with the annual review process.

  • Responsible for entering information for all new hires into the HRIS system.

  • Terminating employees from the HRIS system.

  • Manages online record keeping, archiving, and file destruction for HR records.

  • Processing of verification of employment requests and wage garnishments.

  • Assisting with providing compliance in all areas of HR.

  • Provides general administrative support; i.e. scanning, preparing forms, reports, and correspondence.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years previous Human Resources experience.

  • Associates degree.

  • Outstanding customer service.

  • Position requires an extremely perceptive and outgoing person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels and from all backgrounds.

  • Ability to deal with internal and external customers and to ensure compliance with fair employment practices and perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely, courteous and professional manner.

  • Excellent oral and written communications.

  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

  • Professional demeanor at all times

  • Ability to get along with other employees, follow directions, work under stress, follow up on tasks and continuously improve.
