POSITION TITLE: Data Engineer

POSITION DUTIES: Work on key projects with the goal of interaction with relevant client stakeholders to clarify their requirements as needed. Maintain responsibility for finding trends in data sets and developing algorithms to help make raw data more useful. Communicate data trends. Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures. Backend scalability improvements to a set of services and libraries that enable dynamic configuration functionality (Sitar) for Airbnb, including adoption of Thrift APIs, DB scaling, improving test levels etc. Work with SOX compliance team to create audit workflow of sensitive configuration changes. Improve notifications infrastructure associated with Sitar changes. Build data pipelines, Superset, Priorities that need more resourcing. Drive the project: Intellij improvements and plugin support "Make IntelliJ faster". Utilize GitHub Enterprise experience on projects. Drive down instances of non-inclusive terminology.

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Data Management, Information Systems, Analytics or related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.

RATE OF PAY: $86,000 to $116,000 per year

LOCATION OF POSITION: Beyondsoft Consulting Inc. 10700 Northup Way, Suite 120 Bellevue, WA 98004 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the US
