Art Studio/Shop Assistant (Part-Time) Job ID: 14128 Location: Bellevue College Full/Part Time: Part Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Position Summary Under general supervision of the Dean of Arts & Humanities, the Shop Assistant (or Art Studio Assistant) will assist faculty during 3-D Design and Sculpture courses by instructing and overseeing students in the safe and proper use of woodworking and metalworking equipment. This also includes overseeing one open lab day per week. This position will also maintain 3-D Studio spaces and equipment. This includes keeping the studio clean and organizing course materials and maintaining hand and power tools. This is part-time (24 hours per week) 10-month cyclical permanent position. Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule Position Salary Range: $2,137.80/month - $2,845.80/month The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Individuals newly hired to Classified position are placed in a salary range based on the WPEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. This is a 10-month cyclical position and actual annual wage will be prorated during cyclical period. This position is expected to NOT be eligible for benefits because eligibility is limited only to employees working at least an average of 80 hours in eligible employment for more than 6 consecutive months and at least 8 hours a month.
