Job Summary: The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, along with the History, Anthropology, and Modern Languages & Literatures Department (HAMLL ) at Eastern Washington University is currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for our Administrative Assistant 4 position. This is a 100% full-time Administrative Assistant 4 position that will serve as the executive assistant on administrative matters in support of the Chair, Program Directors, faculty, and students of the HAMLL Department on Eastern Washington University's Cheney campus. This position will perform higher-level administrative duties of a substantive nature that have been delegated to the position to perform. This position reports directly to the Department Chair and equally supports the History Programs, Anthropology Programs, Modern Languages Programs and Literatures Programs. It is expected to exercise independent judgment in interpreting and applying rules and regulations to resolve problems, advise faculty and staff regarding applicable policies and procedures, and recommend alternative courses of action. Position serves as a resource for the department and ensures work of position and department staff are in conformance with regulations, policies, and standards. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills.
