Job Summary:

The Delivery Driver will move parts, goods, and other merchandise over the road (OTR) from one location to another.  As a Materials Handler you will be responsible for transporting materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations within and between our on-site warehouse.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
• Utilizing a tow motor and or skid steer, loads delivery vehicle with raw and finished goods.
• Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
• Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
• Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
• Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
• Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
• Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (using hand trucks, skid steerer and or tow motor).
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to drive safely.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
• Ability to plan delivery routes.
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
• Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
• Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.

Education and Experience:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.
