Maintenance Lead

The Maintenance Lead oversees maintenance or repair of production machines and equipment used within ROHO’s facilities by managing staff, inventory, and repair needs.

Our Engineering department in Belleville, IL is now looking for a Maintenance Lead.

Key Tasks

MAINTAINS EQUIPMENT BY:

Repairing machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment using testing instruments, hand and power tools and precision-measuring instruments; installing functional and structural parts on devices or equipment; performing preventative maintenance on equipment; repairing electrical equipment as needed.

MANAGES MAINTENANCE DATABASE AND PAPERWORK BY:

Establishing and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules for all production machinery; maintaining written records for every piece of equipment, logging work done and failures in order to establish a predictive maintenance program; observing all equipment daily to assure proper operation of all systems and find possible failures. Knowledge of CMMS systems is preferred.

MANAGES MAINTENANCE STAFF BY:

Overseeing skilled maintenance technicians on all three shifts; coordinating work for all shifts; assisting the director of Maintenance/Facilities with identify training needs; ensuring proper training is provided and documented for all staff employees; orienting new employees.

MAINTAINS INVENTORY BY:

Ensuring that critical spare parts are on hand for timely repair of equipment, ordering necessary parts on intermittent basis. Use of CMMS system (Limble).

   Your Background

• Associate’s degree from college or technical school or 5 to 10 years maintenance experience or an equivalent combination

• All maintenance tools, hand and power; welding and cutting equipment; meters and gauges; computer; general office equipment and supplies. Limble CMMS system.

• Proficient personal computer skills

• Mechanical aptitude; fabrication skills helpful; PLC and HMI skills helpful; Robotics; Automation; good reasoning skills; good problem solving skills
