We are looking for a Treasury Professional to join our Controlling and Finance Organization.

Your new role – challenging and future oriented:

  • Embedded into a team of treasury experts in CEE with most of them located in Vienna, you will manage bank accounts, payment infrastructure and liquidity planning for Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. Your home base will be Belgrade;

  • You will be involved in the day-to-day cash management operations such as handling inquiries from banks and Siemens subsidiaries regarding payment transactions and supporting internal audits;

  • You will advise our group companies on the efficient design of their banking partner strategy, payment processing and management of banking services. In that role, you will take the simplification and automation of treasury processes to the next level;

  • You will participate in group treasury projects, e.g. in the context of M&A activities, transformational process automation and streamlining of procedures;

  • You will manage the relationship with our bank partners and negotiate contracts (e.g. cash pooling contracts, banking fees, EBICS/API/SWIFT communication contracts), evaluate the bank and maintain the business relationship;

  • Advising our group companies on treasury specific controls, policies and procedures is your strength;

  • You will monitor and execute liquidity planning and cash management transactions.

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Banking or IT with finance focus ideally supplemented by additional finance-related qualifications (e.g. MBA, CFA);

  • At least 5 years of professional work experience in Treasury / Corporate Finance in an international company, a consulting company or an international bank. Cash management experience is a plus;

  • Work experience in digital innovation and/or project management is desirable;

  • Fluent in English and Serbian. Excellent German language skills would be beneficial;

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to influence relevant stakeholders among bank partners, business controllers, CFO’s, accounting, legal, taxes;
