Azure SQL Managed Instance (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/azure-sql/sql-managed-instance/) is our customer's first choice service for migrating existing SQL Server instances from on-premise data centers to the cloud. Thousands of customers have easily migrated their apps to this service and got all the benefits of automated database management (patching, backups, high-availability, security).

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your expertise to design, develop, and test, Azure SQL cloud service and AI application features that play a key role in driving customer engagement and improving the Azure ecosystem's service reliability, scalability, performance, security, efficiency, and more.

  • Iterate with program managers and UX designers on the best UX.

  • Collaborate across teams to tackle tasks by bringing together all the pieces to provide customers with intuitive, effortless experiences.

  • Passionate about customer experience and customer flow

  • Contribute with fixing, enhancing, and supporting our services in production, including periodic on-call duties.

  • Participate actively in code reviews, bug/issue triage with the feature teams, and support well informed decisions towards business and engineering goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or currently studying computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, related technical discipline with preferable 2 years of equivalent experience in software engineering industry.

  • Passion and motivation for technology.

  • Ability to communicate in English.

  • Passion for Growth, doing new things, and learning from others and own mistakes.

  • Experience in one or more programming languages, including, but not limited to: C#, C++, JS, TypeScript, React, Python, PowerShell.
